A fresh page. Where will you begin?
This Privacy Policy applies specifically to The Daily Puzz. The Daily Puzz is operated by Vito Antonacci, an individual in Virginia, United States, using Kyraux as an informal brand name. Kyraux is not currently a separate legal entity.
This Privacy Policy explains how The Daily Puzz ("TDP," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information when you use the TDP mobile applications, website, accounts, puzzles, subscriptions, Groups, leaderboards, community features, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By using TDP, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. Where consent is required by law, we request consent separately rather than treating use of the Service as consent.
TDP is operated by Vito Antonacci. References to "Kyraux" in connection with TDP refer to the informal brand used by Vito Antonacci, not to a separate corporation or limited liability company.
This policy applies to information processed through TDP and services that link to this policy. It does not govern a third-party product or service that processes information for its own purposes under its own privacy policy.
2.1 Account and Profile Information
2.2 Gameplay and Competitive Information
2.3 Friends, Groups, and User-Generated Content
TDP does not offer direct private messaging or user photo uploads at launch. Content shared with a Group or through a community feature may be visible to other users and may be copied or reshared by them outside TDP.
2.4 Purchases and Subscriptions
Full payment-card numbers and similar payment credentials are generally processed by Apple, Google, Stripe, PayPal, or their payment networks and are not stored by TDP.
2.5 Communications and Support
If you contact us, we may collect your contact information, the contents of your communication, any screenshots or files you voluntarily provide, and information needed to investigate or resolve the request.
2.6 Device, Network, Security, Advertising, Analytics, and Diagnostic Information
2.7 Cookies, SDKs, and Similar Technologies
TDP and its service providers may use cookies, local storage, software development kits (SDKs), pixels, security technologies, analytics identifiers, and similar tools for authentication, security, preferences, payment processing, product analytics, advertising, consent management, diagnostics, and core functionality. Additional detail appears in the TDP Cookie and Similar Technologies Policy.
For the launch version described by this policy, TDP does not intentionally request or collect the following through its own app features:
Third-party operating systems, authentication providers, payment providers, analytics providers, or advertising services may process information under their own terms when you choose to use those services or when those services support TDP. If TDP adds a feature or provider that materially changes the information we collect, we will update this policy and any required platform disclosures before or when the change becomes effective.
If a law requires us to identify a legal basis for processing, our basis depends on the activity and may include:
7.1 Google AdMob
TDP uses Google AdMob to serve advertising in the mobile applications. TDP intends to use contextual or non-personalized advertising rather than selecting ads based on your past activity across unrelated apps or websites.
Non-personalized advertising does not mean that no technical information is processed. Google and participating advertising technology providers may use information such as IP address, coarse location, device or app identifiers where available, ad impressions and interactions, diagnostics, and performance information for ad delivery, frequency capping, aggregate reporting, measurement, fraud prevention, and related purposes.
Where applicable law requires consent before advertising identifiers or similar technologies are used, TDP will provide an appropriate privacy or consent control. TDP does not use account profile information such as your username, phone number, or email address to create cross-service advertising profiles.
Google explains how it uses information from partner apps and sites at:
https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
7.2 Google Analytics and Google Analytics for Firebase
TDP uses Google Analytics on the website and Google Analytics for Firebase in the mobile applications to understand usage and engagement, measure feature performance, and improve the Service. Google Analytics may collect a website client identifier through a first-party _ga cookie or equivalent storage when analytics storage is permitted. Google Analytics for Firebase automatically assigns an app-instance identifier to an app installation. Depending on platform and configuration, measurement information may include numbers of users and sessions, session duration, browser or operating-system and device information, approximate or general geography, first launches, app opens, app updates, in-app purchase events, and other TDP-configured measurement events or non-sensitive user properties.
TDP does not send email addresses, phone numbers, usernames, display names, Group names or descriptions, announcements, challenges, AAR text, or other directly identifying or user-entered content to Google Analytics as analytics event parameters or user properties. TDP uses Analytics for product measurement rather than behavioral advertising profiling. Where required, Analytics storage or collection will be controlled by an appropriate consent mechanism. TDP will review privacy disclosures and consent controls before enabling additional advertising-personalization or user-provided-data features.
TDP does not use session replay, screen recording, or keystroke logging for analytics. Individual keystrokes, password entries, and raw text typed into form fields are not sent to Google Analytics. Keyboard input used locally for puzzle play remains on the device until the user takes an action that must be submitted to TDP to operate the game, such as submitting a completed guess.
Google explains how Google Analytics collects and processes data at: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
The providers below support the current TDP launch configuration. Their own privacy policies also apply when they process information for their own purposes.
| Provider | Purpose | Information Involved |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Authentication, account database, and application data storage | Account identifiers; email/phone for sign-in; profile, gameplay, group, and account data; security and access information as applicable. |
| Render | Hosting the TDP Node.js backend | Requests sent to the backend, account/session identifiers, gameplay actions, IP/network information, and server logs as needed to operate and secure TDP. |
| Google Firebase Crashlytics | Crash diagnostics and stability | Crash logs, app/device information, diagnostic and performance information. |
| Google Analytics / Google Analytics for Firebase | Website and app product analytics, usage measurement, engagement, and feature-performance analysis | Website client identifier where analytics storage is permitted; app-instance identifier; users/sessions and engagement; browser/device/OS/model information; approximate or general geography; app opens/updates and first launches; in-app purchase events; TDP-configured measurement events and non-sensitive user properties. TDP does not send email, phone number, username, display name, Group text, or other directly identifying/user-entered content as Analytics event parameters or user properties. |
| Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) | Push notification delivery | Push notification token, app/device information, and delivery-related information. |
| Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK | Contextual / non-personalized advertising, ad delivery, measurement, frequency capping, fraud prevention | IP address and coarse location, device or app identifiers as available, ad impressions/interactions, diagnostics, performance information, and other data described by Google for the Mobile Ads SDK. |
| Google User Messaging Platform (where used) | Privacy and advertising consent choices | Consent status and information needed to apply regional privacy choices. |
| Cloudflare Turnstile | Bot, fraud, and abuse prevention | Browser/device and network signals, IP address, security signals, and other information needed to evaluate whether an interaction is legitimate. |
| Apple, Google, and Discord | Optional third-party authentication | Provider account identifier and information the user/provider authorizes, such as name or email address. |
| Apple App Store and Google Play | Mobile subscriptions, receipts, entitlement verification, refunds, and transaction status | Purchase/subscription status, transaction or receipt identifiers, storefront/country, and limited transaction details. |
| Stripe and PayPal | Website subscription payments | Billing and transaction details. Full payment credentials are generally processed by the payment provider rather than stored by TDP. |
TDP does not sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws use terms such as "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising" more broadly than an ordinary sale. TDP is configured to use contextual or non-personalized AdMob advertising, but advertising technology can still involve disclosures of identifiers or technical information for ad delivery, measurement, frequency capping, fraud prevention, and reporting.
Where applicable law gives you a right to opt out of covered advertising, sale, or sharing, we will provide the required mechanism and honor legally recognized choices. You may also contact us at privacy@thedailypuzz.com.
Our website uses essential cookies or similar technologies for login, security, Cloudflare Turnstile, preferences, payment checkout, and core functionality, and uses Google Analytics cookies or similar identifiers for website analytics when analytics storage is permitted. The native mobile apps use Google Analytics for Firebase and other SDK/device-level technologies rather than relying only on traditional browser cookies. Where non-essential analytics or advertising technologies require prior consent, we will request that consent before using them.
See the TDP Cookie and Similar Technologies Policy for more detail:
https://thedailypuzz.com/?legal=cookies
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and for legitimate operational, security, legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, and enforcement needs. We use retention criteria rather than one universal retention period because different categories of data serve different purposes.
When information is no longer needed, we delete, anonymize, or de-identify it as appropriate.
You can initiate deletion from Profile > Account & Privacy > Delete Account. You can also use the public account-deletion page at:
https://thedailypuzz.com/account-deletion
After you confirm a deletion request and complete any required identity verification, your TDP account becomes unavailable and enters pending deletion. TDP holds the account and its existing data for at least 48 hours. Permanent deletions are processed once each day at 12:00 AM Eastern Time (America/New_York), so the normal holding period is between 48 hours and just under 72 hours.
Until permanent deletion occurs, you may reactivate the same account by choosing Create account and completing verification with the same email address. Reactivation cancels the pending deletion and restores access to the existing account data. After permanent deletion, registering again with that email creates a new account with no previous TDP data.
Account deletion includes removal of the user from TDP leaderboards and removal of the user's Group posts and other account-associated community content from TDP active systems. Friend relationships, Group memberships, account profile data, and ordinary gameplay history associated with the account are also deleted.
Analytics and diagnostic records that are no longer reasonably linkable to the deleted TDP account may remain in aggregated, de-identified, pseudonymous, or provider-retained form until the applicable retention period expires. If TDP later links Google Analytics data to an internal account identifier, TDP will use available provider tools to delete or de-link account-associated analytics data where required by applicable law.
Deleting your TDP account does not automatically cancel a subscription billed by Apple, Google, Stripe, or PayPal. You should cancel or manage the subscription through the provider that bills it. If you use Sign in with Apple, TDP will implement the required authorization revocation as part of the account-deletion process.
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or information about processing; object to certain processing; withdraw consent; opt out of certain advertising, sale, sharing, or profiling; appeal a privacy decision; or receive non-discriminatory treatment for exercising a privacy right.
TDP does not provide an automated data-download feature at launch. You may submit a privacy request by emailing privacy@thedailypuzz.com. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and authority before completing a request.
For users in the EEA, UK, or similar jurisdictions, you may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority. For U.S. residents, state privacy rights apply only to the extent the relevant law covers our processing.
TDP is intended for a general audience age 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. During onboarding, users enter a full date of birth in a neutral age screen. TDP uses the entered birthdate only to determine age eligibility for account creation and does not retain the exact birthdate as account data. If the age screen identifies a user as under 13, TDP blocks account creation; TDP does not offer a parental-consent account flow at launch.
We do not knowingly permit an under-13 user to maintain an account. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13 without legally required authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete the account and information.
TDP uses contextual or non-personalized advertising for users generally and does not use TDP account information to build behavioral advertising profiles. Additional protections for teenagers are applied where required by law or platform rules.
Users who have not reached the age of legal majority where they live should use TDP and make purchases only with any consent or supervision required by applicable law.
TDP permits certain user-generated text, including usernames, display names, Group names and descriptions, announcements, and challenges. TDP also permits app-generated AARs and predetermined emoji reactions. User-generated text is subject to content filtering, reporting, blocking, moderation, and the TDP Community Guidelines.
Information you post to a Group or social feature is visible to the audience for that feature. Other users may copy or reshare information outside TDP. We may review, restrict, remove, or preserve content as reasonably necessary to enforce our rules, protect users, investigate reports, or comply with law.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including server-side authorization controls and security measures intended to reduce unauthorized access and competitive manipulation. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
TDP is operated from Virginia, United States. Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where applicable law requires a transfer mechanism or safeguard for international transfers, we will use an appropriate lawful mechanism.
Third-party services integrated with or linked from TDP may process information under their own privacy policies. Review the applicable provider's terms and privacy notices before using a third-party sign-in method, payment method, or external service.
We may update this policy to reflect changes in TDP, our vendors, law, technology, or our practices. We will post the updated policy and revise the Last Updated date. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent where required.

These Terms form an agreement between you and Vito Antonacci, the individual operator of The Daily Puzz under the informal Kyraux brand.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of The Daily Puzz, including the mobile applications, website, accounts, puzzles, Groups, leaderboards, subscriptions, advertisements, community features, and related services (collectively, "TDP" or the "Service").
By creating an account, accessing or using TDP, purchasing a subscription, or posting user-generated content, you agree to these Terms, the TDP Privacy Policy, the applicable End User License Agreement, and the TDP Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old to create or use a TDP account. During onboarding, you will be required to complete an age screen so TDP can determine whether you meet the account age requirement. TDP does not retain the exact date of birth entered for this age screen.
If you have not reached the age of legal majority where you live, you may use TDP and make purchases only with any consent or supervision required by applicable law.
You may not use TDP if you are legally prohibited from receiving or using the Service.
You must provide accurate information, keep your account credentials secure, and promptly notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.
You may use supported authentication methods including email, phone OTP, Sign in with Apple, Google sign-in, or Discord sign-in. You are also responsible for complying with the terms of any authentication provider you choose.
You may not impersonate another person, misrepresent your identity, create an account using information you are not authorized to use, sell or transfer your account, or use multiple accounts to manipulate competitive results, Groups, or subscriptions.
We may require reauthentication or other reasonable security checks before sensitive account actions, including account deletion or changes to authentication credentials.
TDP provides daily puzzles, games, scores, streaks, leaderboards, Groups, social features, and related services. Features may vary by platform, country, subscription status, or application version.
We may add, rebalance, replace, correct, suspend, or remove puzzles, rules, scoring methods, features, or content when reasonably necessary to maintain the Service, fix errors, protect security, improve gameplay, comply with law, or preserve competitive integrity.
We do not guarantee that every puzzle, feature, leaderboard, or service will be continuously available or error-free.
TDP is designed around server-authoritative gameplay and fair daily competition. You agree not to manipulate scores, timers, attempts, lives, hints, game state, or leaderboard results.
You may not fabricate gameplay submissions; replay or tamper with network requests; exploit bugs to obtain an unfair advantage; obtain unreleased answers through unauthorized means; use bots, scripts, automation, or unauthorized tools to play competitively; or interfere with another user's gameplay.
We may invalidate results, remove leaderboard entries, restrict competitive features, suspend accounts, or take other proportionate action when we reasonably determine that a competitive rule has been violated.
Good-faith reporting of a bug or security issue to support@thedailypuzz.com is not a violation of this section.
TDP may allow users to add friends, join Groups, create or administer Groups, publish AARs, create Group names and descriptions, post announcements, create challenges, use predetermined emoji reactions, and participate in Group or public leaderboards.
User-created usernames, display names, Group names, Group descriptions, announcements, and challenges are user-generated content and are subject to content filtering, reporting, moderation, blocking, and the Community Guidelines.
TDP does not offer direct private messaging or user photo uploads at launch. The availability of community features may change, and any materially different feature will be governed by the then-current Terms and Privacy Policy.
You retain ownership of original content you create and post to TDP.
By posting content, you grant TDP a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable solely to our service providers, and transferable solely with the Service license to host, store, reproduce, format, display, distribute to the audience you selected, moderate, back up, and otherwise process that content as reasonably necessary to operate TDP, provide the feature you selected, protect users, and enforce these Terms.
The license ends when the content and associated account data are deleted from our active systems, except to the extent limited retention is reasonably necessary for backups, legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, disputes, or enforcement, or where another user has independently copied or reshared content outside our control.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions necessary to post the content you submit and that your content does not violate law, another person's rights, these Terms, or the Community Guidelines.
You may not use TDP to post or facilitate threats, violence, harassment, bullying, hate or discriminatory abuse, sexual exploitation, pornography or sexually explicit content, child sexual abuse or exploitation, doxxing, fraud, scams, spam, malicious software, illegal activity, intellectual-property infringement, impersonation, or other prohibited conduct described in the Community Guidelines.
TDP provides mechanisms to report users and report content. Where applicable, users can also block other users. We may investigate reports and may remove content, issue warnings, limit posting or Group privileges, remove a user from a Group, suspend an account, or permanently terminate an account.
We may use automated filtering and human review. No moderation system can detect every violation, and our ability to moderate does not make us responsible for all user content posted before we receive notice of it.
If you believe a moderation action was taken in error, you may contact support@thedailypuzz.com with the relevant account and decision information.
Group owners, administrators, and moderators may have tools to manage membership, content, roles, announcements, challenges, and participation within their Groups.
Group administrators must use those tools consistently with these Terms and the Community Guidelines and may not use moderation powers to harass, discriminate unlawfully, or facilitate prohibited conduct.
TDP may override or remove Group-level content or administrative actions when reasonably necessary to enforce platform-wide rules or protect users.
TDP prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation, grooming, sexual solicitation of minors, sextortion, trafficking, and any content or conduct that sexualizes or endangers a minor.
Users may report safety concerns in-app or to support@thedailypuzz.com. TDP may remove content, suspend or terminate accounts, preserve evidence where legally appropriate, and report confirmed child sexual abuse material or other legally reportable conduct to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children or another appropriate authority when required by law.
The TDP Child Safety Standards are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
TDP may offer monthly and annual subscription plans. Subscription benefits, price, billing period, and automatic-renewal terms will be shown before purchase.
Subscriptions purchased inside the iOS application are processed through Apple unless an alternative method is expressly permitted by applicable platform rules. Subscriptions purchased inside the Google Play application are processed through Google Play unless an alternative method is expressly permitted by applicable platform rules.
Website subscriptions are processed by Stripe or PayPal. Supported website checkout methods may include Apple Pay or Google Pay through the applicable payment provider.
Auto-renewing subscriptions continue until canceled. Cancellation stops future renewal but normally does not end access before the current paid billing period expires.
Deleting your TDP account does not automatically cancel a subscription billed by a third party. You are responsible for managing cancellation through the provider that bills the subscription.
TDP does not offer one-time digital purchases in the launch configuration governed by these Terms. If one-time purchases are later introduced, applicable purchase terms and policies will be disclosed before or with that offering.
Apple App Store and Google Play purchases are subject to the refund rules and processes of the store that processed the purchase. TDP cannot promise a store refund that Apple or Google has not approved.
Website subscription charges are generally non-refundable after the billing period begins, except where required by law or for verified duplicate or erroneous charges. We may provide a full or partial refund in our discretion for a material service failure or other exceptional circumstance.
For website charges, contact support@thedailypuzz.com as soon as reasonably possible and preferably within 14 days of the charge. Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer rights.
The TDP Refund and Subscription Policy provides additional details.
TDP may display advertising through Google AdMob. At launch, TDP intends to serve contextual or non-personalized advertising rather than ads selected from a behavioral profile based on your activity across unrelated apps or websites.
Advertising services may process technical information for delivery, frequency capping, measurement, fraud prevention, diagnostics, and aggregate reporting as described in the TDP Privacy Policy and the advertising provider's policies.
You may not interfere with, artificially generate, automate, or fraudulently manipulate ad impressions, clicks, rewards, or measurement.
TDP and its software, games, puzzle systems, interfaces, branding, logos, artwork, graphics, text, databases, and other content provided by us are owned by or licensed to the operator and are protected by intellectual-property laws.
Except for the limited license granted by the applicable EULA and these Terms, no ownership rights are transferred to you.
You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, sublicense, modify, publicly exploit, or create unauthorized derivative works from TDP content or software; remove proprietary notices; or use TDP or Kyraux branding in a way that falsely implies sponsorship or endorsement.
You may not access or use TDP unlawfully; attempt unauthorized access to accounts, servers, databases, source code, unreleased puzzle content, or security controls; distribute malware; scrape or harvest user information without authorization; interfere with service availability; abuse support or reporting tools; evade a suspension or block; or use TDP in a manner that materially harms users, the Service, or third-party systems.
Restrictions on reverse engineering apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law and do not limit rights that cannot legally be waived.
TDP relies on or integrates with third-party services including Apple, Google, Discord, Supabase, Render, Firebase, Google AdMob, Cloudflare, Stripe, and PayPal. Your use of a third-party service may also be governed by that provider's terms and privacy policy.
We are not responsible for a third-party service to the extent the issue is outside our reasonable control, but this section does not limit responsibilities that applicable law assigns to us.
You may stop using TDP at any time and may request account deletion through the process described in the Privacy Policy and Account Deletion Notice.
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate an account or feature when reasonably necessary because of a material or repeated violation of these Terms or the Community Guidelines, fraud, cheating, a security threat, illegal conduct, child-safety risk, abuse of another user, nonpayment, or conduct that materially threatens TDP or its users.
Where appropriate, we may use a lesser restriction before termination. Severe safety, fraud, exploitation, or security violations may result in immediate suspension or termination.
We work to keep TDP available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, updates, infrastructure failures, security incidents, force majeure events, app-store decisions, or circumstances outside our control may temporarily limit the Service.
We may discontinue a feature or the Service. If a discontinuation materially affects a prepaid subscription, we will handle remaining prepaid value as required by applicable law and the rules of the payment provider.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TDP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." WE DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT TO THE EXTENT THOSE WARRANTIES MAY LAWFULLY BE DISCLAIMED.
We do not warrant that TDP will always be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or compatible with every device or network. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, guarantee, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE OPERATOR AND TDP WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, LOST GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO TDP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID DIRECTLY TO TDP FOR THE SERVICE DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) US $100.
These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law, including to liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for losses or third-party claims caused by your unlawful user content, your infringement of another person's rights, or your material breach of these Terms. We will provide reasonable notice of a covered claim when practicable and will not require you to indemnify us for our own misconduct or for obligations that applicable law does not permit us to shift to you.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except to the extent mandatory consumer law in your place of residence requires otherwise.
Subject to any mandatory consumer venue rights, disputes that are not resolved informally may be brought in the state courts located in Loudoun County, Virginia, or the applicable federal court serving that area. These Terms do not require arbitration and do not contain a class-action waiver.
We may update these Terms when TDP, the law, platform rules, or our practices change. We will post the revised Terms and update the effective date. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice where appropriate and request renewed acceptance where required.
Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
If a provision of these Terms is unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum lawful extent and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign your account or these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a reorganization, financing, sale, or transfer of TDP, subject to applicable law.
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, EULA, Community Guidelines, Child Safety Standards, Refund and Subscription Policy, and any purchase-specific terms form the agreement governing your use of TDP. More specific terms control only for the subject they address.

This EULA is between you and Vito Antonacci, the licensor and operator of The Daily Puzz under the informal Kyraux brand. The Application is licensed, not sold.
This End User License Agreement ("EULA") governs your download, installation, and use of The Daily Puzz mobile application (the "Application"). The online TDP Service is also governed by the TDP Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
This EULA is between you and the Licensor only, not Apple Inc. ("Apple") or Google LLC ("Google"). The Licensor, not Apple or Google, is solely responsible for the Application and its content, subject to the responsibilities that applicable law or an app-store agreement separately assigns to Apple or Google.
For an Application obtained through Apple's App Store, Apple is not a party to this EULA except as the third-party beneficiary described in Section 12.
Subject to your compliance with this EULA and the TDP Terms of Service, the Licensor grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to install and use the Application on devices you own or control and as permitted by the applicable app-store rules.
For an Apple-distributed version, the license is limited to use on Apple-branded products that you own or control and as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and Usage Rules, except that the Application may be accessed and used by other accounts associated with the purchaser through Family Sharing, volume purchasing, or another Apple-authorized feature where those rules permit it.
For a Google Play-distributed version, your installation and use are also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service and applicable Google Play rules.
Except where applicable law expressly permits otherwise, you may not copy the Application except as necessary for permitted use; modify, translate, or create unauthorized derivative works; reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Application; circumvent technical restrictions; remove proprietary notices; sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the Application; or use the Application to violate law or the rights of another person.
Nothing in this EULA restricts a right that cannot legally be waived, including any non-waivable interoperability or reverse-engineering right provided by applicable law.
Certain Application features require an internet connection and TDP account. Use of those features is subject to the TDP Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and applicable subscription terms.
The Application may display contextual or non-personalized advertising and may integrate third-party authentication, payment, security, notification, and infrastructure services.
The Licensor, not Apple or Google, is responsible for providing maintenance and support for the Application to the extent required by applicable law and the TDP Terms of Service.
Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support services for the Application. Google's responsibilities are limited to those it expressly assumes under Google Play terms or applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Application is provided "as is" and "as available," subject to warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be disclaimed.
For an Apple-distributed Application, if the Application fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any, paid for the Application to the extent required by Apple's applicable terms. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the Application.
The Licensor remains responsible for other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to an applicable warranty to the extent required by law.
The Licensor, not Apple, is responsible for addressing claims by you or a third party relating to the Application or your possession or use of it, including product-liability claims, claims that the Application fails to comply with an applicable legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer-protection, privacy, or similar law, except to the extent applicable law or platform terms provide otherwise.
This EULA does not limit the Licensor's liability to you beyond what applicable law permits.
If a third party claims that the Application or your possession and use of the Application infringes that third party's intellectual-property rights, the Licensor, not Apple, is responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of the claim to the extent required by applicable law.
You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country subject to a United States Government embargo or designated by the United States Government as a "terrorist supporting" country and that you are not listed on a United States Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the Application, including the terms that apply to your device, network/data service, app store, authentication provider, payment provider, and any other third-party service you choose to use with TDP.
This EULA remains effective until terminated. Your rights under this EULA automatically terminate if you materially breach it and fail to cure the breach where a cure is legally required or reasonably appropriate.
Upon termination, you must stop using and delete copies of the Application in your possession, subject to any non-waivable rights and any continuing online-account provisions governed by the TDP Terms of Service.
For Applications distributed through Apple's App Store, you and the Licensor acknowledge and agree that Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA. Upon your acceptance of this EULA, Apple has the right, and will be deemed to have accepted the right, to enforce this EULA against you as a third-party beneficiary.
This EULA is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer law in your place of residence requires otherwise. The venue provisions in the TDP Terms of Service apply to disputes relating to the Application to the extent permitted by law.
This EULA, together with the TDP Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, governs your use of the Application. If this EULA conflicts with mandatory Apple or Google terms applicable to the distribution platform, the mandatory platform term controls to the minimum extent necessary to resolve the conflict.

TDP is built around friendly daily competition. These Guidelines apply to usernames, display names, Group names and descriptions, announcements, challenges, AARs, reactions, and other community activity.
These Community Guidelines are incorporated into the TDP Terms of Service. They are designed to protect users while preserving competitive banter, Group identity, and ordinary puzzle discussion.
TDP does not offer direct private messaging or user photo uploads at launch.
Friendly rivalry, teasing that is welcomed by the participants, and competitive discussion are allowed. Content or conduct becomes unacceptable when it targets or intimidates another person, creates a safety risk, or is used to evade a block or moderation action.
Do not attack, demean, dehumanize, threaten, or promote exclusion or violence against people based on protected characteristics recognized by applicable law or comparable personal characteristics. Ordinary discussion is allowed; targeted abuse is not.
Do not post another person's private or sensitive information without authorization, including home addresses, private phone numbers, login credentials, financial information, private communications, or information intended to facilitate harassment or physical harm.
Do not use TDP to facilitate criminal activity, credible threats, exploitation, trafficking, malicious software, or conduct that creates a serious safety risk. TDP may report legally reportable or emergency matters to appropriate authorities.
Do not use custom Group text or other user-generated content to infringe another person's copyright, trademark, publicity, or other rights. If you believe content infringes your rights, contact support@thedailypuzz.com with sufficient information for us to review the claim.
Group leaders may enforce additional Group rules that do not conflict with these Guidelines. Group moderation tools may not be used to facilitate prohibited discrimination, harassment, retaliation, fraud, or other violations. TDP may intervene when platform-wide rules are violated.
TDP may use automated filters to detect or prevent prohibited words, patterns, links, or other content in usernames, display names, Group names, Group descriptions, announcements, and challenges. Automated filtering is imperfect. Passing a filter does not mean content is permitted, and blocked content may still be appealed to support if you believe it was incorrectly restricted.
If you encounter a violation, use the in-app report option for the relevant user or content. Reports may include preset categories and an option to provide additional context where supported. You may also contact support@thedailypuzz.com for safety or moderation concerns.
Knowingly submitting false reports to harass another user or manipulate Group participation may itself violate these Guidelines.
TDP provides user-blocking controls where applicable. A blocked user must not attempt to evade the block through another account or use Groups or other users to continue targeted contact or harassment.
Depending on severity, context, history, and risk, TDP may take one or more of the following actions:
Severe child-safety, exploitation, credible-threat, fraud, or security violations may result in immediate action without a prior warning.
If you believe a moderation action was taken in error, contact support@thedailypuzz.com. Include your username, the affected content or feature, the approximate date of the decision, and why you believe the decision should be reviewed. An appeal does not guarantee reversal.
We may update these Guidelines as TDP community features evolve. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate. The current version is posted at the public URL listed above.

TDP is intended for users age 13 and older. These standards state TDP's rules and response process for child sexual abuse, exploitation, grooming, and other conduct that endangers minors.
These Child Safety Standards supplement the TDP Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. They apply to all TDP users, Groups, usernames, Group text, announcements, challenges, AARs, reactions, and any future community feature.
TDP prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Users may not create, upload, request, solicit, distribute, promote, facilitate, normalize, or trade content or conduct involving the sexual abuse or exploitation of a person under 18.
TDP uses a neutral age screen during account creation. Users enter a full date of birth so TDP can determine age eligibility without displaying the minimum age threshold in the age-entry prompt. The exact date of birth is evaluated for this purpose and is not retained as TDP account data. Accounts that do not meet the minimum age requirement are blocked from creation unless TDP later implements a legally compliant parental-consent flow. The launch version does not offer direct private messaging, user photo uploads, or photo-based profiles. TDP uses content filtering, in-app reporting, blocking, and moderation controls for user-generated text and community activity.
These design choices reduce risk but do not eliminate it. Users and parents or guardians should report suspected exploitation or unsafe conduct immediately.
Users may report a user or report content using the in-app reporting tools. Child-safety concerns may also be sent to the designated child-safety contact at support@thedailypuzz.com.
If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. TDP support is not an emergency service.
When TDP obtains credible notice of suspected CSAE or CSAM, we may take steps appropriate to the circumstances, including:
TDP will not knowingly redistribute CSAM as part of an internal investigation. Handling and reporting will be limited to what is lawful and reasonably necessary.
TDP will comply with valid legal process and applicable child-safety reporting obligations. We may preserve or disclose information when required by law or when a lawful emergency disclosure is reasonably necessary to address an imminent threat to life or serious physical safety.
TDP prohibits retaliation against a user who makes a good-faith child-safety report. Deliberately false reports made to harass another person may result in moderation action.
Google Play, law enforcement, child-safety organizations, users, parents, and guardians may direct child-safety notifications to:

This policy explains billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund handling for TDP monthly and annual subscriptions.
This Refund and Subscription Policy forms part of the TDP Terms of Service. Nothing in this policy limits consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
TDP may offer monthly and annual subscription plans. The applicable price, billing period, included benefits, and automatic-renewal terms will be shown before you complete a purchase. TDP does not offer one-time digital purchases in the launch configuration covered by this policy.
Unless the purchase screen states otherwise, paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period until canceled. The provider that processed your purchase controls the actual renewal transaction and may send billing notices under its own terms.
Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store are billed and managed by Apple. You can manage or cancel an Apple subscription through your Apple account subscription settings. Refund requests for Apple-processed charges are handled through Apple's applicable refund process and are subject to Apple's rules and applicable law.
Apple subscription management:
https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions
Apple refund requests:
https://reportaproblem.apple.com/
Subscriptions purchased through Google Play are billed and managed through Google Play. You can manage or cancel a Google Play subscription through your Google Play account. Refund eligibility for Google-processed purchases is determined under Google Play's applicable refund rules and applicable law.
Google Play subscription management:
https://play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions
Website subscriptions are processed by Stripe or PayPal. Depending on the checkout method supported by the provider, Apple Pay or Google Pay may be available as a wallet option. TDP generally does not store your complete payment-card credentials.
You may cancel a website subscription before its next renewal through the account or payment-management method made available for that purchase. Cancellation normally remains effective through the end of the current paid billing period.
Except where required by law, website subscription charges are generally non-refundable after the billing period begins. We will correct verified duplicate or erroneous charges and may provide a full or partial refund, in our discretion, for a material service failure or another exceptional circumstance.
For a website billing issue, contact support@thedailypuzz.com as soon as reasonably possible and preferably within 14 days of the charge. Include the account email, transaction date, amount, payment provider, and a short description of the issue. Do not email full card numbers or other sensitive payment credentials.
Cancellation stops future renewal. It does not automatically refund a charge for a billing period that has already begun. Unless a refund is granted or applicable law requires otherwise, you normally retain subscription access through the end of the paid period.
Deleting your TDP account does not automatically cancel a subscription billed by Apple, Google, Stripe, or PayPal. Before completing account deletion, review and cancel any active subscription through the provider that bills you. TDP will provide subscription-management information in the account-deletion flow.
If subscription pricing or material plan terms change, required notice and consent will be handled according to applicable law and the rules of the payment provider. A change will not retroactively alter a completed charge unless required by law or agreed by the parties.

This policy explains cookies and comparable technologies used on the TDP website and SDK/device technologies used in the TDP mobile apps.
This policy supplements the TDP Privacy Policy. "Similar technologies" includes local storage, SDKs, pixels, advertising identifiers, app identifiers, consent strings, security technologies, and other tools that store or access information on a browser or device.
The TDP website may use browser cookies and local storage. The native mobile applications primarily use software development kits (SDKs), app/device identifiers, push-notification tokens, and operating-system storage rather than ordinary browser cookies. This policy covers both so that users can understand the equivalent technologies used across TDP.
TDP may use technologies that are reasonably necessary to provide a requested service, including authentication, session management, fraud prevention, account security, preferences, load balancing, payment checkout, and other core functionality.
Essential technologies may operate without an optional advertising or analytics consent where applicable law permits because they are necessary for the service you request or for security. The exact legal treatment can vary by jurisdiction.
TDP uses Google AdMob in the mobile applications. TDP intends to request contextual or non-personalized ads rather than behavioral ads selected using your past activity across unrelated apps or websites.
AdMob and participating advertising technology providers may still process IP address, coarse location, device or app identifiers as available, advertising data, user interactions, diagnostics, and performance information for ad delivery, frequency capping, aggregate reporting, measurement, and fraud prevention. Non-personalized ads do not necessarily mean that no identifier or device information is used.
Google information for partner apps and sites:
https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
TDP uses Firebase Crashlytics to detect crashes, diagnose technical problems, and improve application stability. Crashlytics may process crash logs, device/app information, diagnostics, and performance information as described in Google's documentation and privacy terms.
TDP uses Google Analytics on the website and Google Analytics for Firebase in the mobile applications to measure usage and engagement. On the website, Google Analytics may use a first-party _ga cookie or equivalent client identifier when analytics storage is permitted and may collect numbers of users, session statistics, approximate geography, browser/device information, and TDP-configured measurement events. In the mobile apps, the Analytics SDK may collect an app-instance identifier, users and sessions, session duration, operating system and device model, general geography, first launches, app opens, app updates, in-app purchase events, and other TDP-configured measurement events or non-sensitive user properties. Depending on platform and configuration, resettable advertising or device identifiers may also be available to the SDK.
TDP does not send email addresses, phone numbers, usernames, display names, Group names/descriptions, announcements, challenges, or other directly identifying or user-entered content to Google Analytics as analytics event parameters. TDP intends to use Analytics for product measurement, not behavioral advertising profiling.
TDP does not use session replay, screen recording, or keystroke logging for analytics. Google Analytics and Google Analytics for Firebase are used for event and session measurement, not to record a user's screen or capture every key pressed. Individual keystrokes, passwords, and raw text entered into forms are not sent to Analytics.
TDP uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for push-notification delivery. If you enable notifications, TDP and Google may process a push token, app/device information, and delivery-related information needed to route notifications. You can disable push notifications through your device settings.
Where applicable law requires consent for analytics storage, advertising identifiers, cookies, or similar non-essential technologies, TDP will present an appropriate consent or privacy-control interface before using those technologies. In the mobile apps, this may include Google consent controls or another compliant consent mechanism. TDP can technically disable Google Analytics collection until the applicable consent choice is obtained.
For users in jurisdictions that require consent for certain analytics or advertising technologies, including parts of the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, TDP will configure consent handling before requesting covered Analytics or AdMob storage/access. Refusing optional analytics or advertising consent does not disable account, security, or payment technologies that are reasonably necessary for the Service.
Google Analytics is used on the TDP website. It may use a first-party _ga cookie or equivalent client identifier when analytics storage is permitted. In jurisdictions requiring prior consent for non-essential analytics, TDP will provide a consent interface before enabling analytics storage, including a way to reject non-essential technologies and manage preferences. TDP will configure available data-redaction controls and will not intentionally place email addresses, phone numbers, names, usernames, or other personal information in analytics URLs, event parameters, or user properties.
| Provider | Purpose | Category |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Authentication / session / account functionality | Essential / functional |
| Cloudflare Turnstile | Bot and abuse prevention | Essential security |
| Stripe / PayPal | Website checkout and payment security | Essential when user requests payment |
| Google AdMob | Contextual or non-personalized ads; delivery and measurement | Advertising; consent/opt-out rules may apply |
| Firebase Crashlytics | Crash diagnostics and stability | Diagnostics / performance |
| Google Analytics for Firebase / Google Analytics | App/site usage measurement, sessions, engagement, feature performance, and product improvement | Analytics / measurement; consent rules may apply |
| Firebase Cloud Messaging | Push notification delivery | Functional notification service |
We may update this policy when TDP adds or removes providers or technologies, changes advertising practices, or when legal or platform requirements change. The current version will be posted at the public URL listed above.

This notice explains how to delete a TDP account, what happens while an account is pending deletion, how reactivation works, what data is removed, and how to submit other privacy requests.
You can start an account-deletion request directly from this page.
To initiate deletion in the TDP mobile application, go to:
Profile > Account & Privacy > Delete Account
TDP may require you to reauthenticate or verify a code sent to an email address or phone number already associated with the account. This is intended to prevent unauthorized account deletion.
If you cannot access the app, you can start an account-deletion request at:
https://thedailypuzz.com/account-deletion
The web process will require enough information to identify and verify the account before deletion is completed.
After you confirm the deletion request and complete required identity verification, your TDP account becomes unavailable immediately and enters pending deletion. TDP holds the account and its existing data for at least 48 hours.
Permanent deletions are processed once each day at 12:00 AM Eastern Time (America/New_York). Because an account must already have been pending for at least 48 hours when that daily sweep runs, the normal holding period is between 48 hours and just under 72 hours.
Until permanent deletion occurs, you may reactivate the same account by choosing Create account and completing verification with the same email address. Reactivation cancels the pending deletion and restores access to the existing account data. After permanent deletion, registering again with that email creates a new account with no previous TDP data.
When permanent deletion occurs, TDP deletes the account and associated personal information from active TDP systems, subject only to the limited retention exceptions described below.
Subject to the limited retention exceptions in Section 5, account deletion removes the following from active TDP systems:
If information was copied or reshared by another user outside TDP, TDP may not be able to delete that external copy.
We may retain limited information after deletion where reasonably necessary or legally required for purposes such as:
Residual copies may remain temporarily in backups until overwritten through normal backup cycles. Retained information will not be used to continue ordinary operation of the deleted account.
If you used Sign in with Apple, TDP will revoke the applicable Sign in with Apple authorization as part of the account-deletion process. Deleting your TDP account does not necessarily delete your Apple, Google, Discord, or other third-party account. Manage those accounts directly with the provider.
Deleting a TDP account does not automatically cancel an active subscription billed by Apple, Google, Stripe, or PayPal. Review and cancel any subscription through the provider that bills you before or when you delete your TDP account.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or information about how your personal information is processed. TDP does not provide an automated data-download feature at launch, but you can submit an applicable privacy request by email.
Privacy requests: privacy@thedailypuzz.com
We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and authority. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.
If the in-app or web deletion process does not work, contact support@thedailypuzz.com. Support can help you initiate or complete the deletion process, but the ordinary deletion flow will not require a phone call or a separate support request.
